We often mistake pace for progress. Doing something quickly feels productive, but it says nothing about direction or quality.

Attention slows things down. And precisely because of that, you start to see where things rub, where assumptions hide, and where you are fooling yourself.

This thought came up while rewriting existing texts. Not because they were bad, but because they sounded too certain.
